The term Italian plaster generally refers to decorative stuccos that have been used in Italy for hundreds of years. Applying a lime and resin-based plaster creates a soft, dimensional look that ranges in color from adobe to tanned leather. Application techniques and tinted wax can add texture and depth to old world plasters such as Mursd’ Art and Rasa Calce. These are commonly used to compliment a Tuscan décor. Italian plaster will absolutely enhance an accent wall, fireplace or an entire room.
